Park Lodge Project hopes you will be happy and enjoy living here. Living in the same property as other people requires a positive and tolerant approach and the house rules are designed to bring this about and to ensure the safety of all residents and staff.
- No ILLEGAL DRUGS, OR STOLEN GOODS are allowed on the premises.
- Residents are not allowed to smoke in the building. Smoking is only permitted in the rear garden area and will not be tolerated at the front of the building. Eating and drinking is only allowed in the rear lounge.
- Park Lodge Project operates a zero tolerance policy with regard to VIOLENCE, OR THREATENING OR ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR which will result in immediate eviction and possible criminal prosecution.
- No FIREARMS, IMITATION GUNS, KNIVES or other DANGEROUS WEAPONS are allowed on the premises.All visitors must report to a member of staff when entering or leaving the building. All visitors must provide photographic ID. No visitors under 16 years are allowed on the premises.
- Residents are allowed to have up to TWO guests to visit them at the project. Photographic ID and evidence to confirm their age and address is required by the office prior to a guest visiting. All guests must be signed in and out. Whilst you have a guest /s no other residents from Park Lodge Project are allowed in your room. Guests are allowed to visit between the times of 5.00pm and 11.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 11.00pm at weekends, although this is at the discretion of the duty staff that guests remain until 11.00pm. Residents from Central Avenue are not allowed in the outer houses as guests. Ex residents may be allowed in the project after a period of three months but this will be dependant on the reason for their move on. Any resident wishing to have an ex resident as a guest must speak to the Project Manager where this can be discussed and a decision made. Your guest must remain in your room and other residents are not allowed in your room whilst you have your guest. Guests are not permitted on the project during house meetings, maintenance checks or key work sessions. If you sign in a guest, this guest can only be signed in by you and not by any other resident.
- No LOUD MUSIC OR EXCESSIVE NOISE AT ANY TIME. Equipment will be confiscated after three verbal warnings for a period of one month. If on the return of the equipment three further warnings are given, equipment will be removed fora period of three months. After three further warnings equipment will be removedfor the remainder of your stay at Park Lodge Project.
- Residents must notify staff if they are staying out overnight. Only two nights in any seven day period are allowed. Residents must remain in their room on their own during the period of midnight to 8.00am.
- All external doors are to be kept secure and all corridors and fire exits are to be kept clear at all times. Bedrooms are to be locked when residents are out. If you lose you key and / or fob this should be reported to staff immediately. A charge of £12.50 will be made for each key or fob that is lost.
- Residents must keep their rooms clean and tidy, (including bathrooms and kitchens).
- Residents are responsible for washing and changing their bed linen.
- You are not permitted to deep fry food
- NO COOKING AFTER 11PM – all kitchens will be locked by midnight. All pots must be washed, dried and put away after use. THE CLEANER WILL NOT WASH AND CLEAN UP AFTER RESIDENTS. Crockery and cutlery must be kept in your room. (There are some circumstances where you need to cook after 11pm but you will need to speak to the Project Manager to arrange this).
- Dangerous substances, flammable materials, including candles etc must not be bought onto the premises. All accidents must be reported to staff at Central Avenue. Fire drills must be attended and any damage to fire equipment must be reported immediately.
- MAINTENANCE CHECKS WILL BE DONE AT MONTHLY INTERVALS. Staff will give residents 24 hours notice. However, the law states that staff do have the right to carry out spot checks for health and safety reasons.
- NO PRIVATE PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE OFFICE except in the case of an emergency.
- Residents are responsible for their own property whilst staying at Park Lodge Project and this is not covered by the project’s insurance.
- Residents are required to attend all House meetings and Residents meetings as requested. Failure to attend these meetings could result in you putting your accommodation at risk.
- Under no circumstances should residents let people who they do not know into the building. Residents must inform a member of staff if a visitor wishes to enter as they are leaving or if they do not know them. DO NOT GIVE OUT INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER RESIDENTS.
- All residents are required to have weekly meetings with their key worker to discuss any issues / concerns they may have. For example: employment, education and training. Additional support sessions that have been identified must also be attended. Failure to attend these sessions could result in you putting your accommodation at risk.
- All residents must be appropriately dressed (No Pyjamas) when in the communal areas and shoes/slippers must be worn at all times. All residents are expected to be up and dressed by 9.00am Monday to Friday. If you are not in education, training or employment you will be expected to find something productive to do during the day. You may stay at the project if you are completing tasks; cleaning your room, doing washing, attending any key work sessions, activities etc.
- Rent payments must be made on a weekly or fortnightly basis failure to pay this charge will result in warnings and could jeopardise your accommodation.
- Failure to abide by the above Rules in addition to the terms and condition of your Licence Agreement may result in you putting your accommodation at risk.
